Novo Nordisk spent a century on insulin, then disrupted themselves with Ozempic. Body composition as a class marker is just getting started.

There are two major broad health issues that effect a ton of people.

– Extra fat: people are bigger than what's good for their bodies.
– Frailty: we live longer than what our body is intended to.

These problems are going away in my lifetime. Here's why.

Baseline assumption:

> What enough people wants and is possible, happens, as long as the same people are willing to pay the costs for it, directly or through taxes.

Baseline implications:

- There will be a pill for muscles (We're now working on [non-androgenic anabolics](https://www.researchgate.net/publication/262254227_A_Novel_Non-Androgenic_Alternative_for_Muscle_Health_and_Performance))
- There will be a pill for fat-loss (We now call it [Ozempic](https://www.felleskatalogen.no/medisin/ozempic-novo-nordisk-653285))
- There's an app to make you pretty online (We still call it filters, but AI might change the label)

Predictions:

- Social acceptance of obesity decreases
- Importance of body composition as a social class indicator increases
- Use of cosmetic surgery increases
- SoMe: Being fit becomes expected, not necessarily admired
